RULINGS
  • 2024-02-02 Panoptic Projektor’s last ability affects a permanent’s own abilities that trigger when it turns face up as well as other triggered abilities that trigger when that permanent turns face up. Such triggered abilities start with “when” or “whenever”.
  • 2024-02-02 Panoptic Projektor’s last ability doesn’t copy the triggered ability; it just causes the ability to trigger twice. Any choices made as you put the ability onto the stack, such as modes and targets, are made separately for each instance of the ability. Any choices made on resolution, such as whether to put counters on a permanent, are also made individually.
  • 2024-02-02 If you control two copies of Panoptic Projektor, a face-down permanent turning face up causes abilities to trigger three times, not four. A third Panoptic Projektor causes abilities to trigger four times, a fourth causes abilities to trigger five times, and so on.
  • 2024-02-02 Replacement effects are unaffected by Panoptic Projektor’s last ability. For example, abilities that apply “as [this permanent] is turned face up,” such as that of Crowd-Control Warden, are unaffected.
